Cynthia Margeaux has traveled the globe as one of the industry’s most sought after choreographers. She brings her unique talent and vision to each production - from the intimacy of the Small Screen, to the bright lights on Broadway. Now represented by blocNYC, she joins an elite group of the world’s top choreographers, dancers and directors.

Cynthia’s choreography has been seen by millions of viewers. Her most recent commericial for American Express, featuring tennis phenom Andy Roddick, was launched in conjuction with the US Open. The spot called for styles ranging from hip hop to ballet, and included a virtual “cast of thousands.” Director Kevin Thomas described her choreography as “a visual feast for the camera!” In fact, chances are, you’ve already seen some of Cynthia’s work as field choregrapher for the last six Superbowl Halftime Shows. She has created spectacular visual audience effects for the likes of the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Justin Timberlake, and Britney Spears.

On stage, Cynthia creates powerful, emotive, show stopping performances. Which is why when Volkswagon was developing their New Years Eve Gala Spectacular in Munich, Germany for over 4000 VIP attendees, they chose Cynthia to choreograph their entire show. The show’s theme, “On Broadway,” consisted of songs from ten of today’s hottest Broadway shows, and was performed by a select cast of dancers, shipped from NYC to Germany, for this once in a lifetime event.

In 2004 and 2005, Cynthia helped MTV bring the heat to Miami, when they brought their largest live production to town - the MTV Video Music Awards. Cynthia choreographed the “Rhythm Nation” drumline, for a live performance by pop icon Janet Jackson, in addition to creating stunning audience based choreography for Usher, The Flaming Lips, Kanye West, and Outkast.

From Walt Disney World, to BMW, to Major League Baseball, Cynthia Margeux’s list of clients, and talents, continues to grow. Her love of dance is infectious, her work ethic unmatched, and her style - is all her own.
